Istanbul, Turkey, 2018.

I have never really had much opportunity to travel, South Africa being so vast and beautiful all on its own, also being so far from everywhere else in the world. 

​

I was actually in Turkey for a very brief visit. It rained the entire time I was there and was freezing cold. That however did not stop me from falling in love with Istanbul city. It is so easy, the architecture, the old hidden places, the friendly people, food, the colors and the pace of it all. 

​

Traveling alone is a strange thing. You have the freedom to come and go and move around as you please, but most of the time you catch yourself looking for your friend to tell them the amazing thing you just saw, heard or felt . Mobile phones suck.
